EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential School) is a Government of India scheme for model residential school, specifically for Scheduled Tribes across India. EMRS is one of the flagship interventions of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India and was introduced in the year 1997-98 to ensure tribal students get access to quality education in the remote tribal areas. Eklavya Model Residential School, Kottadoddi established in 2006 is located in the village of Kottadoddi, Arakera Taluk, Devadurga City, Raichur District of Karnataka.
